James T. Sandwich, MD, MHP, is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Fayette Area Dermatology in Fayetteville, Griffin, and Zebulon, Georgia. He has more than 20 years of experience caring for people of all ages and is highly trained in his field.

Dr. Sandwich earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, and received his medical degree at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Sandwich completed his residency in dermatology at the same institution, where he served as a chief resident.

Some of his medical school accomplishments include being a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, receiving the Ty Cobb Education Foundation Scholarship, and earning the Sigma Chi Foundation Scholarship.

Dr. Sandwich has completed numerous professional presentations at medical conferences nationwide and maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the American Board of Dermatology (ABMS) and has published many research papers in prestigious medical journals.

Dr. Sandwich enjoys helping his patients improve the health and appearance of their skin and welcomes them to Fayette Area Dermatology.
