Chemical Peels

We offer a variety of chemical peels, ranging from Beta Hydroxy Acids, Glycolic Acids, and Trichloroacetic Acid peels. These peels are designed to be used on the face, neck, arms, chest and hands. They can also be used on all types of skin.

These peels have been shown to help improve acne, skin tone and texture, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and diminish the appearance of fine line and wrinkles. There are different ranges of peels; therefore, results vary.

It usually takes 4-6 treatments in intervals between four and six weeks.

This procedure should be performed by a medically trained staff in a physician’s office. Side effects are usually mild. You will usually experience some mild discomfort during the application. You may experience a burning sensation during treatment. Some redness is normal and should subside over time. After treatment, you may have some areas of sloughing, producing some weeping or scabbing. Do not pick the areas as this may result in scarring. As you increase to higher strengths of peels, your side effect profile will increase. These side effects would be discussed with you at you consultation.
